Splice Media is the brain-child of Owner/CEO, Wes Dollar. Splice Media was founded in March of 2007 and operated solely out of Valdosta, GA. The vision of Splice Media was to provide a one-stop shop for professional web design with a strong emphasis on customer service and end-user experience. It was the goal of Dollar to make the website development process as easy as possible for each client.

Leading up to the Christmas holidays in 2009, the server that Splice and all of its clients' websites were housed on crashed. Over twenty websites belonging to or developed by Splice were down for over 72 hours. In an effort to ensure that such an event never happened again, Dollar purchased his first state of the art sever and had it shipped to an industry leading sever bank in New York, New York. Splice Web Hosting opened its doors to clients and close friends on January 1, 2010.
